And getting burned out from communicating with people. I don't sell Avon anymore, by the way. Playing phone-tag with a dozen people a week isn't my idea of fun. But I still use their products.

I think I'm finally on the upside of this last relapse. It was triggering, but I'm getting through it.

I've been praying and thinking of you all too.

Sorry I've been away so long, my loveys.

By the way, if you wish to see my myspace, it's music_for_anna (and it's mostly invaded by BSB fans). You also might see me from time to time on the BSB board on the LiveDaily forums. I haven't visited facebook in forever though.

And yes, I did get "Unbreakable," and I love it. In fact, I'm listening to it right now. Yay for Backstreet Boys!!!

They need to haul their asses to Kansas City. But not until I laugh my ass off over and over again at Howie dramatically falling and ripping his pants at their show in Melbourne, Australia. (sorry Howard, but that was extremely funny how you fell and handled it all). In the words of Nick, *to the tune of "Inconsolable"*"Howie did you faalllllll?"

Thanks to fans packing nice cameras into their bras to sneak them into the shows, programs like iMovie, and the internet, courtesy of YouTube, now Howie's humiliation of falling down and going boom splat on his ass can now be broadcast worldwide at anyone's will. And thanks to a keen mac os x dashboard widget called mytube, it'll never go away, because I can record youtube video and export it to mpg4 video.

And Livedaily, I can never get enough of it. I wrote them two bsb comedy songs. I won't post them here, if you haunt LD though, you'll find them. One is called "Livedaily" (the Nick Livedaily song-- at times he's admitted to roaming/lurking the place) and the other is called "Hillbilly Kevin." It's such a flamboyant dysfunctional part of the BSB fanbase on there. And I love it.

By the way, Jason Blume's book rocks my socks off. That and the 3rd scrapbook I got for my birthday were the two greatest gifts ever. I haven't heard an update on Lottie though since December. Last I heard they just had it diagnosed that she has Autism. But, of course you all know, I still love her, and always will, and I think her family has the right mindset for raising a child like her. We've all been busy, and I've been thinking about calling them soon though. Maybe when it gets warmer outside, we can have a visit with them.

Well, that sums up what my life has been like at the moment. Toodles.

Soy un tonto. Sí. Cinco más libras fueron adiós. Yes, I weighed myself again. I didn't know it was getting like this. It's like, hi, reality check. I have these pants on, that make me look like MC Hammer because they're too loose in the boot for me. I really need to go through my clothes and weed out the stuff that no longer fits. And not lose any more weight. I mean, come on, I'm a few lbs away from being on the border between healthy and underweight. I probably don't look it though. But, oh well. I need control of my life.

Until then, it must be hammer time! *imagines myself doing a stupid dance, but won't do it, since I'm in a computer lab at school*

I'm in a musical phase lately. I've been writing a buttload of songs lately. Welp, it's time to go to good ol' English class. Toodles! *sprouts wings and flies out of computer lab*

Friday, August 31, 2007

Here I am, bored, in a lab full of PCs, waiting until 11:50, until I can go scope out BU room 205, to see if my lost knit blue hoodie has turned up in there (or, should I say, if I left it in there.) I already scoped out my Spanish classroom, and I scoped out the lost and found (information and security, in the BU building), and it's in neither of the two places, so I bet it's in BU 105, where I had my computer class. I wouldn't be surprised if the guys in Information and Security know me by first name by now, considering all the items that I have lost during my entire time at Longview.

Whoopee. There's a girl sitting next to me in this lab, who is busy typing up a stupid brainless run-of-the-mill English paper on the media and eating disorders. If only people really knew how it really is for all of us who have struggled with one. Everyone who types up one of these damned papers should be failed for regurgitating the same bullshit and wasting hard drive space (even if it's 4<less than 100K), time for those who are forced to read the papers, and well, paper. Maybe many of us aren't peons of the media following. Maybe some of us don't give a damn about MK or Nicole Richie, Kate Moss, or any of those people used for thinspo. A cheeseburger is not a cure or a fix. Shut up and quit saying that we need to become stoners and we wouldn't care what we'd stuff our holes with. I'd love to slap her for ignorance, but, alas, I always hold back my desires.

As for my recovery, I've been doing pretty well as of lately. I certainly pray the same for the rest of you. Take care.

-Anna

p.s. I still love the Backstreet Boys, would love to talk to them, and would love to see them come to Kansas City to put on a show here when they go on tour. I can't wait for "Unbreakable" to come out October 30th.

"And how long ago did THIS start?"

I told mom. Naturally, that was the question that came next. I choked out "a few weeks ago," even though I've had chest pains on and off throughout my life. I don't know when things begin and end. I should keep a journal of all the body anomaly bullshit that goes on. I really should.

Anyhow, with that said, I've been getting an earful about "clean your room, clean your room, clean your room," and they want it clean for Krista's belated graduation party, which I think is the week school starts back. Oh, and I still haven't gotten those brochures hung, but Daniel is so close to being better, so he said he'd help me.

Meanwhile, as all of this is going on, my dad decided out of no where, to scrub the mildew and mold problem with chlorine bleach in our one and only bathroom (he said, he'd enlist my help, but I was too drained and tired). It's sad to know that yours truly was the main contributing factor to the development of that horrendous mold and mildew problem, with my long hot showers (especially before recovery, it was very bad, since you know you can't keep yourself warm when you're anorexic). Let's put it this way, Our bathroom walls and ceiling, once were white. I made them look like a peeling black leopard, even a panther in many areas of the ceiling. It's effing embarrassing, since this is our one and only bathroom, and everyone rubs it in. Well, after being scrubbed down, our bathroom is much lighter, and still stinks like chlorine bleach (dad also accidentally dropped a spray bottle and it busted on the bathroom floor), our bathroom ceiling still looks like a leopard. Now it looks like an off-white and pink leopard though (pink was the original color of the bathroom).

Today, we're going to paint. Yay. Fun. I bet I'll hear an earful more about "never take a hot shower again."

EDIT: I accidently dumped the entire tray of primer on my foot. Go Me. That really got my dad mad.

"As long as there'll be music, we'll be coming back again."

It's true. My boys are back. Yes, the Backstreet Boys. New album. October 30th. Not sure of the title, heard it was "Motivation." New single: "Inconsolable." Hits radio August 27th. They finally got rid of that stupid "soon" thing on their website. Now we've upgraded to a 12-day countdown of some kind. Who knows what it's for. But I'm happy. Of course, it doesn't automatically bring Kevin back. Note his shoes are empty on the pic. I can't tell which guy is which, my guess is, Brian, Nick, Howie, (Kevin's empty shoes), AJ. But anyhow, that's not what matters. What matters is, that they are still making music, and they are the last guys standing from the gone "boyband era". LAST GUYS STANDING. I told you-- these guys are more than just a mere "boyband."

Meanwhile... Look at what VH1 is cooking up... This looks to be interesting... Want to know what competition is doing this days? The Man Band. They took some guys who used to be in the boybands, and they're trying to fit them into a cookie-cutter boyband model, with no cohesion whatsoever, and they're trying to make it work. LMAO like it's going to happen. They've got this guy from Color Me Badd, in with Jeff from 98°, with one of the guys from LFO, and Chris from Nsync. So far, Jeff's being an unwilling butt, the Color Me Badd guy is shrugging, the LFO guy just wants things to magically work, and Chris is trying to mediate things unsuccessfully. Also, two of these guys are battling alcohol addictions-- a surefire need for intervention, and so far, those two haven't expressed any willingness to give sobriety a try (or, nobody is dragging someone out of a bedroom and into rehab either though). But also, they didn't want to sing the 2 lines of the song for the management lady either, because all 4 of them were so damn arrogant. You see, when you have nothing left of your dead-end career, you have ditch your ego. I'm sorry. I think she just wanted to see where their ranges sit, that's all! How are they going to figure out who sings what part, when nobody knows where their ranges sit? And how are they going to get along with each other? LOL

Remind me why the Backstreet Boys are so special? They were motivated from the beginning, and they are like brothers to each other. They've been through hell and back with the industry and their personal lives, but have always been dedicated to one another's wellbeing. They don't let stupid shit like what goes on in The Man Band get in the way. They don't let anything else that's not stupid get in the way either. They care about each other, work with each other, they are cohesive. They love being on stage, and anyone whose ever been to one of their shows knows that's where they shine and thrive. They don't let egos get in the way. They're there for the music. Although they don't write as much music, They more than just enjoy singing. They eat sleep and breathe music. They are truly talented. And all their fans know it. They are the kind of guys who decide to have an impromptu show on the top of a hotel in Rio de Janeiro when 48,000 fans show up in the street to greet them and swarm their bus. And even if they don't have fans of that caliber of a number anymore, they still have fans, and my, do they love them. They are the kind of guys who sing a capella on request no matter where they are, even if the song requested, they haven't sang in 4 years (even if it's in a different language even), and songs that were only found live on a special.

Saturday, July 28, 2007

Same thoughts, different day. What's new. Well, I've gotten myself back up to eating 3 meals a day, but, sure, I'm sure, they could be better and more well-rounded. I just don't have the patience for food some days. I just want to get it over with, and opt for whatever goes down the smoothest and fastest. Like, for instance, carnation instant breakfast for breakfast, spaghetti-o's for lunch, and soup for dinner. I wish I enjoyed eating like some people do. It's just such a bore some days. And, the longer it takes to make something, the more it sits within my mind, bubbling up triggering e.d.-related thoughts to dry my appetite. Gah if there's one person who could live off of tv- dinners, and other easy-to-make junk it's me. lol

I didn't do as much selling as I wanted to this last campaign, although it was pretty good (reached a hot point, where I just about shot myself in the foot, because I didn't have the $30 more of sales to catapult myself into the next earnings bracket-- 40%). I've been so drained, I keep on putting off hanging the brochures, because I run out of energy. That's probably why I didn't reach $400 this last campaign. So now I have even more brochures left to hang (each brochure can be ordered from even 2 campaigns after it was that campaign, say for instance, it's campaign 16 now, but I can still back-order from 14 and 15). I'm just overwhelmed. If anyone who knows me wants to donate some foot-power, feel more than happy to do so. You can help me hang these brochures, since I am lacking in energy lately. I can do one side of the street, and you can do the other. Sound like a plan?

Daniel is almost better. He's fighting off the last bit of the ear infection. It's taken LONG ENOUGH for that man to get over the crap that's been ailing him for nearly a month.

Anyhow, speaking of crap of the ailing variety, I think the pains are getting worse. I had a pretty hammering chest pain last night. I don't want my mom to be freaked out over it though. I don't like it when people freak out. At the same time, I want to know what's going on, and I'm sure waiting isn't a good idea, considering they're getting worse and more intense. Of course, at the first mention of chest pains, a lot of docs think it's acid reflux-- which I don't think this particular stuff is, considering, I already have that, am taking medicine for it, and it's not like those chest pains. It's not straight down the middle. It's off to the side. And this is more of a jabbing-type pain. Sometimes instead of jabbing, it occasionally makes my chest hurt when I breathe. But it's still more of a jabbing. Area-wise, it's on the left. To the left of my sternum. It's about a little over an inch away from the middle of my sternum.

Ah, that's life. The girl just wants to live. And be happy. Be Healthy. Have Energy.

Wednesday, July 18, 2007

I'm still doing great with AVON. I get the feeling this is going to be a great campaign too.

Daniel's been sick. He's still sick. He's got a sinus infection. He went back to the doc since the z-pack isn't getting rid of it. Most of the congestion of his is gone, but, now he has an ear infection. Poo. I want my Daniel better!!!!

Mom's 50th birthday was fun. Except poor Bradley burned his hand.

Speaking of evil kitchen injuries... you'll find out how incredibly talented I am.

I wanted some English muffins earlier... so when they came out of the toaster, they were so hot, I thought they'd melt the hard refrigerated butter, right? I was cutting the butter, with a butterknife, it wasn't budging, so I gave it some extra force. It split the butter barely and diagonally, And I managed to bruise myself under one of my fingernails, and cut two of my fingers. WITH A BUTTERKNIFE!!! Gah I'm so talented. One of the cuts bled for like 5 minutes. It did make me feel pretty stupid.

But, what's new. I'm the kind of person who whacks the wall in the middle of the night and manages to tear off more than a cuticle while doing so. I trip and fall flat on my face, I walk into doors, and I fling canes in the audience.

In the words of my father... "How'd'ja manage to do that?" "Well, don't do that!"

If you like hunkey-dorey happy posts, and you're too weak to take the rest of my post, then leave if you're too much a coward to read anything else that happens in my life, happy or not.

I'm trying to do good recovery-wise. Trying doesn't mean a damned thing if.... nevermind. Let me rephrase that. I'm not doing good. Yeah, that's it.

I was stupid and weighed myself again. It's dipped lower by 6 lbs from my "usual". I haven't been eating as well as I should be. My pants are all looser. Some I have to belt now, and others are getting baggy in the butt, which I'm sure Daniel wouldn't be thrilled about (my close friends are probably laughing at that statement-- or not). I'm surprised my family isn't getting paranoid again. In fact, I'm paranoid that they're going to get paranoid, which sounds illogical, stupid, and backwards, but it's true. I supposed I shouldn't put up a front and defend my e.d., but sometimes it's like that, and it's hard to beat old habits. Things have changed a lot around here since Dad had his surgery. There are still a few fattening items in our kitchen, but most of those are hidden. We never hardly eat out anymore, and many things are low-fat for dad's sake. And, I've been using that, or, should I say that, my e.d. has been using that to fuel fear of the "food police," to eat "better." I have been working out more lately. Thankfully, although I can no longer feel any intensity of my abdominal workouts since I had Lottie, they're starting to tone up a smidgen. I'm trying to gain muscle. Because, if I want to gain any kind of weight, I want it to be muscle. It seems to be working for right now. Except the chest pains are back. I never missed their presence, and I do not like that they've come back. There was a guy at the gym the other day who started staring at me, and I gave him a confused face and he said I looked like I was working myself too hard on the elliptical. Am I doing myself in? Although I am (or should I say, my e.d.) has that small, very short-lived sense of relief that losing the 6 lbs had made, and the toning of the muscles too, I do not wish to lose muscle mass like I did in the olden days, nor do I wish to continue down this road of sabotaging myself. I just have very mixed feelings about satisfaction with self right now. Some days, I look great, and other days it's like "I don't like what is happening, stop me." I don't want this to escalate to what it once was. I REALLY don't. Because I know there wasn't any sense of looking great or feeling great then, it was just about silencing the non-ending fear, even if it was only silenced for a very short amount of time. Then it started all over again. Keep me in your prayers. I want out of this rut.

Sunday, July 01, 2007

If you want the secret scoop on what's coming down the pipeline for AVON, here it is:
<br style="font-weight: bold; This month has been a rollercoaster ride. My dad is still recovering from his surgery, and will be happy when they finally allow him to start driving again next month. For those who aren't in the know, my dad was having chest pains, went to the doc, had stress test done, didn't go well, had catheterization done, 20 minutes later he had a heart attack, and got wheeled in to emergency quintuple bypass surgery. That was May 2nd. Because we have such a strong history of heart disease in my family (both sides! All of my grandparents had some form of it!), I'll try to eat better without overkill of any extreme. As long as my family can influence me to eat better without being the food police, I'll be okay. Had this happened in early recovery, it'd probably be hell or high water, but I'm at a point now that I can effectively deal with incidents like this. I'm trying to replace my crave for the bad fats with healthy ones like nuts or fish. I like nuts. Nuts are good. I ruined my dinner the other night with an entire pack of sliced almonds. Next time instead of ruining my dinner with them, I shall put them ON my dinner. I've also been watching the cholesterol content of the stuff I eat. Bye-Bye Pecan Sandies... Bye Bye. I will have to cut down on my rampant on-the-fly bookstore purchases of the $.99 bags of those beloved shortbread cookies, because they're full of artery-choking cholesterol. So sad. But better than dead. Or heart attack.

Done with school for the semester. My sister Krista graduated from Penn Valley with her fashion design degree. My funny boy Petey (stupid cocker mix) made friends with the beagles next door, he plays with them by running along the fence so much that now we can't get him inside. Petey is also sad that he can't own the couch anymore, so now he's claimed the love seat.

I'm still selling AVON. Want to see a brochure? Let me know. There's also a link to my store at the top of my xanga too in case you want to see it. That's been going pretty good. I succeeded in the Going for the Green contest, and got a pin that says AVON and a bunch of samples for free. Now I want a taste of Presidents' Club! I enjoy meeting new people while selling AVON. Now if I could manage my money better and not spend it on myself constantly, then that would be fantastic too.

I'm also planning on doing a fundraiser for the Ngozika A. Osuala Memorial Foundations. Ngozika was one of my beloved friends from Ruskin. We were in English 110 together, Algebra II together, 10th grade science class, and best of all, we both sung next to each other in choir together, and we were good friends. After graduation, we didn't see each other much anymore, but Daniel saw her sometimes at UMKC where both of them went to school. She was in her 3rd year of nursing school, when she died of a severe asthma attack at the age of 21, back in 2006. I dearly miss her, and she was one of the most phenomenally driven women I've ever met in my entire life. EVER. Now her family wants to fund research for asthma, and open a youth center in her name. As someone who knows people like my friend Kristin who has severe asthma, in addition to other people I know who have severe asthma like my other friend Eric, and even those who don't have it severe, like my beloved Daniel and his family members, anyone knows several people who are affected by asthma on a day-to-day basis. There isn't a person I have met yet who doesn't know someone affected by asthma. Also, I am all for them wanting to open a youth center in Ngozika's name because I honestly think that will help several children dedicate their time to more productive activities to keep them off the streets and out of trouble. Our area could definitely use a youth center. I'm thinking about getting involved with churches to get this fundraiser going. Of course, this fundraiser is still in the planning stages, but what do you think?

I also want to have an AVON party at my sister's house. The date has not been set yet, but we're looking at August. Choir and Longview folk, let me know if you're interested in coming. There will be freebies!!! And games!!!

I couldn't sleep well last night. I know, being on this early in the morning is out of my character. I woke up at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep!

-Anna

p.s. I hate cold sores, they can all die a horrible death and leave my lips alone! I've always been prone to them and I hate them!

My big novel of an update, part 1

I know... That's really NOT like me!) Sorry I've been busy and I haven't had much time to get back to people, nonetheless write articles for Kiwibox like I wanted to. So, what's new?

AVON

Guess what? I sell AVON now! Come and get brochures, I have plenty. I'll be carrying them on me at school! I'll also have order forms on me. :)

I Love Avon's products. They are affordable, and so far, the ones I've tried and used are of good quality. I promise. You shouldn't be let down.

If you go to Longview, or live in the Hickman Mills area and would like to buy from me, either see me in person at Longview, or see my website, see my number on there, and give me a call. Be sure to call and ask or email me if you have an questions about our products. I'll try to help you the best I possibly can. Happy Shopping!

Visit my Avon website!

My Favorite Avon Products: A ramble.

I love Avon. My favorite product is the Mark glow baby glow lipgloss in pink crush. It's got the best consistancy, and it has a nice minty smell to it. And my does it have a gorgeous shine. Also I love the Glazewear lipgloss in Darling Pink. It's perfect. It sticks like lipstick, and it's not goopy like other lipglosses, but it shines like lipgloss should. I've also been using several other Avon products, like the True Pore-Fection line, since my T-zone on my face makes excessive amounts of oil in comparison to the rest of my dry body. (my body is really weird like that, my face, especially my nose is really oily but the rest of me is very dry). I like it a lot. I also love their Crystal Aura fragrance. I've also been working to replace all my crappy non-Avon makeup with Avon. The transition is very close to being complete now. Any of ya'll mighty voicers remember my poor excuse for makeup by CG, that purple eyeshadow quad, that 1) snowed down my face, 2) got dumped one too many times, 3) made me itch, and 4) even got stepped on and cracked one time? Guess what? It's GONE. I found the new Vintage Violets eyeshadow quad that Avon has, and that was the pathetic excuse for makeup's replacement. I love my new eyeshadow very much. I also got a Mark mezzo eyeshadow case for a blush and a couple of i-mark eyeshadows. I love it very well too. I also have a new eyebrow pencil that for once shows up, and doesn't look too red! I don't know what it is about eyebrow pencils for blonde people like myself, but either they don't show up, or they make me look like a clown because they're too red (even the slight tinge of red does that). Bought an Avon one. It shows up, it's not overpowering, and it doesn't make me look like a clown. And I have new mascara. And new concealer that for once doesn't look like a bunch of fireflies got smeared across my face. Cool beans! I'm very satisfied with the quality of Avon products.

Dear ConAgra: A Love Letter

I'm sure you all have heard about the Peanut Butter recall. These are my personal sentiments towards ConAgra.

Dear ConAgra,

Your contaminated peanut butter rocks my bowels so hard they laugh vomit out my ass. Thank you for selling me this contaminated peanut butter.

-Anna

Last december, I got really sick one night. Could it have been the chinese I ate that day? China Star never bothered me before. Or... could it have been the two plate fulls of peanut butter puffs? (I know, a lot, I know, I went overboard). Those never bothered me before either. Alas, you all have heard of the Peter Pan peanut butter recall. Now I know what happened.

So I scoured my cabinets and the pantry shelf for jars of PB. I found one expired, and the other six (Six!) were of the recalled variety. Three jars were nearly empty. So we had been eating this stuff. Eww. Aside from that awful incident in December, I'm okay.

Enough about that.

Just when I thought the Peanut Butter recall was fun....

About a month ago, Petey felt quite sick, and we couldn't figure out why. He didn't want to eat his breakfast one day, which, for those of us who have dogs, know that is a major anomoly. His gutts were making the ugliest noises too.

You know what I found out? Petey's dog food got recalled (we're talking the Purina ALPO Prime Cuts in Gravy). We found maybe 10 cans of the recalled ALPO in the cabinet. We went back to the Nature's Recipe dry food, with beef mixed in. I'm sure Pete-Pie won't mind too much about the beef part. I'm so glad he wasn't one of dogs who died from kidney failure. I mean, Menu foods can pay their way out of the ass, but it still doesn't bring back your pet. Pete-Pie got lucky.

So how's life at home?

Petey and I have been on better terms lately, however, he bit me pretty bad about two months ago. I got bitten on my neck, my right thumb, and the heel of my right hand. In two of the places I already have scars. So what was he doing a month ago when he bit me? I wasn't bugging him while he was eating. I wasn't bugging him when he was sleeping. No. I interrupted his TV-watching habit! Guess who had no TV priveledges for a while. He has since then been seen sulking (he knew he was being punished for it), and has seldom growled or gotten nasty with me ever since. In fact, we've been snuggle buddies.

Pete-Pie snuggling with my mom.

See? He's an old lady type of dog. He wouldn't mind having an old lady to snuggle up to every day who always watches shows like jepardy, the price is right, and wheel of fortune. lol He loves to snuggle. Like he always does with us everyday. But he has to search for a new person to snuggle with because once he gets cozy with someone, we always have to get up and do something!

^^There he got his butt stuck in the crack of the couch. lol

And he always begs to get on the couch all the freaking time too.

So, how'd my 23rd birthday go?

I also had a pretty good birthday. I had lots of music given to me, the Singin' In The Rain movie (YAY!!!!!!), and a cell phone. However, my dad decided to put my new cell phone in his charger, which isn't right for my model, because my parents' phones are RAZRs, and well, they require more charge to fuel their battery power (because they have not only more features like video capability, but also, color displays on the front too). Their charger has a higher amperage. My phone is a bluetooth camera phone, but it does not require as much power as a RAZR (mine is a Motorola V325i). Well, the phone seemed to charge just fine. I took it off the charger. At first, it was just fine. I powered it on. Up came the "Hello Moto" screen. It got stuck on the "Hello Moto" screen, and it flickered, and turned to all white. It wouldn't shut off after that. Out of desperation, I removed the battery to get it to shut off. I put in the battery again after 30 minutes. Then, it refused to power on. So we had to send it back in, and wait for another phone to arrive. My new cell phone came though. Minus the nasty sticker residue that had to wear off of the number pad, this one works very well.

Also, I want to thank all of those of you on facebook who wished me a happy birthday! Thanks!

Random Ramble crap. The not-so-important stuff. Oh the woes.

First things first: The new "snap" feature-- two big thumbs down.

What is this stupid fucking "snap" thing? I don't need no damned preview to go from one link to another on my xanga. It even took me 5 minutes of reloading to get it to go away even after I disabled it. Stupid implementations like this are the reason I hate the way people think up crap like this to use on the internet. It's like that smartlink bullshit that microsoft was using for a while.

WTF? I thought I disabled this piece of shit. Go away! Die fucking Snap feature, DIE!!

Also, something that I've always wondered...

I don't see why cell phone network carriers think they're so damn special. Why must I pay for features when other commodities like iTunes lets me load music from my CDs without having to buy music from the store? I don't have to pay for email on my computer, do I? I also don't have to pay per download or every single time I open a browser on my computer either. The bill is enough. I shouldn't have to pay for messaging, a song I already own, or for an image smaller than the back of my hand. Those money-sucking bastards. I vote with my wallet. I took pictures of Pete-Pie as my wallpaper, and made a crappy recording of a song I already own to use as a ring tone. Take that, Verizon!!!!!

Conclusion:

Now that I have a cell phone, and now that I've gotten a start with Avon, I went and got a checking account. I think selling Avon will let me earn money while not having to devote a lot of time to working a lot of hours on a job, and at the same time, I can build relationships with people, without killing my dedication to school.

And remember, Mothers' Day is coming up! Remember to get your mom something!!!

update on my life.

On friday, We went to Burger King. I almost lost my hat too. Called
Burger King, they couldn't find it, but we came up there, and it was in
the parking lot. I seriously have the brain of an airhead sometimes.

Kind of like how I accidently dumped half a bottle of V8 Splash in my lap on Wednesday. I'm sooo coordinated too. lol

School is eating my life.

I'm doing quite well in my classes so far, which feels great. I
feel so incredibly optimistic that I'm tempted to do too much, I'm not
sure If I should though. I want to write articles for Kiwibox. I want
to help fix up the KCWC website, maybe join the choir
too. I want to get a job. But I'm not sure if I could handle all of
that at once. Things are looking up, and I need to keep my life
balanced though.

Speaking of the new stuff, you might see me in a couple of things around School that's being worked on currently:

There's a new ABLE program
brocure in the making that includes pictures of me reading one of my
friend Diane's books (my books were back in the room, and I didn't feel
like getting them).

Also, a new project at Longview,
will be a website/help thingy called Ourspace, I have no idea what the
URL is (it'd be great if one of you Longview folk can tell me the URL),
but I'm on there in a couple of video snippets and a couple of hints.
These hints are helpful study tips, best kept secrets at Longview, tips
for success, and so on. I looked like a total dork in both of my
videos, so I hope they edited out when I asked the camera man if he was
"rolling". Deerrrr. I look like a dweeb, but oh well. It was fun.
You'll have to see the videos to know what my hints were though.

Where has time gone?

Wow, time has been going by so fast, that I've lost track of time. That's such a contrast in comparison when I was treading water from day to day, meal to meal, from moment to moment a few years ago. It wasn't until I checked my xanga did I realize on the ticker it said I had reached the 3 year mark in my recovery.

3 years, can you believe it?

I can't. lol.

Speaking of Recovery, Did you know my recovery blogring has 93 members in it now?!?! I got past 90!! I wonder if it'll go past 100!! Then that'd be really awesome that we have that many people dedicated to hardcore ED recovery. I remember when I started my blogring for a purpose of providing a safe place for recoverees on xanga. I had no idea that it'd get this far, but THANK YOU everyone!! I love you!!

Update on Lottie

I talked to Chas on Friday too. Lottie is growing great, Hailey better
start growing more!!!! Hailey is 27 lbs, and Lottie's 25 lbs, so Ms. Lottie will
surpass her older sister Hailey very soon.

Chas also said that she's looking into speech therapy for Lottie,
because Lottie's still not doing a lot of talking. I also think that
Lottie's got someone half my height who is doing all the talking for her.
It's so easy for Ms. Lottie to point and go "uh" at the wanted object,
then Hailey comes up and says "Momma, Lottie wants this." So Chas has
started telling Haliey to let Lottie answer the questions,
and she has been prompting Lottie to answer for herself more. It's easy
for older siblings to answer for the younger kid. That's why Daniel and
I both didn't talk a lot as kids, because we had Chris, Dawn, and
Melissa to answer for us and get us what we wanted. That's just what we
think is going on. Speaking of Lottie, I got new pictures from them in the mail today, and of course, Lottie is an adorable smiley girl in each and every one of them. I love Lottie and her family too.

Getting my butt back into shape.

I worked out with Daniel and his family on Saturday. His mom extended our membership to the Y, and that's awesome. The Y (the red bridge one I'm talking about) is driving me crazy, because they replaced a lot of their machines, and they did away with the oblique machine I enjoyed using in favor of one that targets the entire torso. Oh well. But these ones aren't as descriptive in how to use them as the old machines were. You know what's funny though? They have new bikes and ellipticals, and each of them have a TV screen on them, but I'm too short to view the ones on the ellipticals without getting nausiated by the crappy viewing angles. I mean, I can see the screen when I go up, but by the time I went down, I can't see crap. And it makes my nausiated to watch something so close to my face. These screens were built for a tall man, like most of the machines, including the abdominal ones I've tried. It's really pathetic, I have to adjust all the seats since I'm only 5'2". I feel like I'm sitting in a high chair by the time I'm done adjusting everything since my feet can't touch the floor either.

Anyhow, Daniel makes great entertaining company while working out. Of course, like most of the world, he burned more calories than I did (because for some odd reason it takes eternity for my body to burn anything), but I covered more distance than him (I was pacing myself, and had it down since I got that from doing distance running in track back in Jr. High). I've been trying to make it a habit of going to the gym at least once a week to get myself more in shape.

My thoughts on this year's Grammy Awards.

And the Dixie Chicks won five grammys last night? What a load of shit. Those should have gone to someone more deserving. It's so stupid, one of the girls (I think it was Natalie) who said "OK, we're ready to make nice now!" I agree with you Jeff. The Dixie Chicks were so stupendously smug about all of their wins, instead of saying anything humble and profound of any importance. I just wanted to smack them so hard. Aside from that, I was also not impressed by Justin Timberlake winning anything for Future Love/Sex Sounds.

Good thing Christina won Best Female Pop Vocal Performance with "Ain't No Other Man," because yeah, she rocked that stage. Tony Bennett and Stevie Wonder also won Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals with "For Once in My Life" (that arrangement also won Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalists), and Tony Bennett won another one too. Enya won Best New Age Album. Christina also had a stellar performance last night. But man, what a load of crap. I was NOT impressed by many of the other Grammy recipiants other than the wins mentioned above. I just felt like most of my time was wasted on watching the Dixie Chicks making their smug comments about their wins. That's great. One of the girls cried, but, can Natalie learn how to formulate anything DECENT to say? No.

In other entertaining news....

I've also learned that my dog also likes watching Ninja Warrior. He likes to follow all the action. I'm sure he'd like to watch MXC too. My Pete-Pie LOVES
to watch TV. Earlier this week, I walked past the living room, and he was
snuggled in Krista's lap, looking back and forth watching Ninja Warrior. I caught some footage of him watching and reacting to the Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl last week. And then I caught footage of him being a maniac, playing with a sock, and his ball. When I have time I might make a video or two of him and post it on YouTube or something. Because my dog is stupid, and he's funny, and I'm sure people like David will be very enthused at my dog's entertaining abilities.

Thanks to Daniel for my latest video game addiction.

And, Cloud is funny. He's especially funny dressed as a girl too. I love this game, the storyline is classic, and it's really funny too!! Welcome to my new addiction! Thanks to Daniel for getting me addicted!
